I believe that creativity and design are important tools to inspire, motivate and educate people. Great design is empathetic, it understands the needs of its audience and solves real-world problems. It brings me joy to be able to discover design solutions through creativity and design thinking. I challenge myself to be creative every day through design, photography, and drawing. When I am immersed in the creative process, I am truly at my best and can deliver outstanding results.
My experience as a product designer with an innovative social support app opened me to mentoring and a successful graduation of TechStars in 2018. I have had the opportunity to make meaningful changes in children and parents lives and my exposure to this mentoring and work continues to shape the way I communicate conceptual ideas, create prototypes, and design high fidelity wireframes and web interfaces. In the realm of graphic design, I created lasting advertisement campaigns that still serve the libraries I created for them to this day. I remained constantly aware of the unique needs of the libraries and its patrons while designing digital and physical products and projects that worked within budgeted parameters.
My passion for art, design, and the experience of all those I create for motivates my work in the world. I’ve had several opportunities to design and create meaningful products and apps that change the lives that they touch. Having been exposed to so many ways to make a difference in the world, I want to continuously evolve my skills in the UI and UX realm so that I can build creative, intuitive interfaces that delight users each and every time they use it.
Digital design is like painting, except the paint never dries.
